This is an album of tragedy... despite the best efforts of the local fish wardens, finning still occurs in this area. The best way to fight it is to fight the fin market. If you get to Anilao, support locals like the men pictured here who feel the pain of loss and love the creatures of the ocean. I have looked now into the eyes of a beautiful creature as it dies... the sadness of innocent animal death will always remain acute with that memory...

Locals are defeated and bemused by the fact that some fisherman is so short sighted that he wants to make a fast buck when whale sharks are such long lived and much loved tourist attractions..

Kerill Ezzy : Ever heard of shark fin soup? This is a result of hunting for shark fins for that soup - they just cut off the fins and then throw the 'left overs' away... alive and unable to survive. It is a common occurrence around the world but because sharks aren't 'cute' or land animals that people commonly see, it goes unnoticed by most of the Western world...I think it is time we all fought to make it stop.



Kerill Ezzy : That is the real tragedy of it so please tell everyone you know about what shark fin soup really is... a tragic, needless, painful death for so many creatures that have no notion of doing anything but surviving. This particular species only eats plankton - hence its name...

.... มันน่าเศร้านะครับ .... ฝีมือมนุษย์ สัตว์ที่ดุร้ายที่สุดบนโลก


Anilao ดินแดนแห่ง Underwater Macro Photography ชนิดที่ติดอันดับต้นๆของโลก ... อาหารแต่ละมื้อ ไม่เคยมีเมนูปลาทะเล เพราะเขาอนุรักษ์กันเสียเหลือเกิน ไม่จับ ไม่ตก ไม่ล่า อยากจะกินปลาก็ต้องกินปลาน้ำจืดแทน ...


แต่พอมีปลาขนาดใหญ่อย่างนี้เข้ามา ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นของแปลก และหาโอกาสที่จะพบได้ยากที่ Anilao ที่สามารถสร้างรายได้จากการท่องเที่ยวดำน้ำได้มากมายมหาศาล กลับต้องมาตายอย่างไร้ค่าจากมนุษย์แกะดำที่มีจิตใจต่ำช้าเพียงไม่กี่คน


ไม่รู้จะด่ายังไงแล้ว มันเศร้าเกินบรรยาย .....

T_t อ่านแล้ว เศร้าใจ ความโลภของมนุษย์น่ากลัวจริงๆ

ว่าจะไม่เข้ามาอ่านแล้วเชียววววว กลัวน้ำตามันจะร่วง

แต่เมื่ออ่าน เห็นแล้ว....ยิ่งกว่าน้ำตาร่วง มันเป็นโศกนาฏกรรมที่ไม่อยากจะเชื่อว่าผู้ที่เรียกตัวเองว่าเป็นมนุษย์ที่คิดว่าตัวเองเป็นผู้เจริญกว่าสัตว์ทั้งหลายกระทำ.....มันยิ่งกว่าอะไรๆที่เคยรู้มา

จะไม่ประนาม สาปแช่ง ใครหรอก ....รู้แต่ว่าบาปกรรมมีจริง และปัจจุบันติดจรวดซ๊ะด้วย

ได้แต่ขอให้สรรพสิ่งที่ต้องตายไปเพื่อสนองความอยากของผู้ที่เรียกตัวเองว่าเป็นมนุษย์(ที่คิดว่าตัวเองเป็นผู้เจริญกว่าสัตว์ทั้งหลาย)นั้น ไปสู่สุขคติ เทอญ......

ญาติมิตร พี่น้องครับ คิดเสียว่าเป็นเรื่องธรรมดาในวัฎฎสงสารนี้ ถ้ามีปํญญาก็เตือนตัวเองว่าอย่าทำ เพราะบาปกรรมมีจริงๆ จะช้าหรือเร็ว ไม่ชาตินี้ก็ชาติต่อๆไปแน่นอน ปลดไม่หลุด ล้างไม่ออก ฟอกไม่ได้ ......ลองดูตัวอย่างคนหรือสัตว์ที่เกิดมาชาตินี้ แล้วพิกลพิการ แต่เกิด หรือเป็นในช่วงหลัง ในรูปแบบต่างๆนั้น ทุกอย่างที่เกิดขี้น ล้วนแต่มีเหตุ มีปัจจัยทั้งสี้น .......

ความโลภ ทำให้คนกล้าทำในสิ่งที่เหี้ยม (จนพยัญชนะบางตัวตามไม่ทัน)
